By the age of 84, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has developed a breathtaking legal legacy while becoming an unexpected pop culture icon. But without a definitive Ginsburg biography, the unique personal journey of this diminutive, quiet warrior's rise to the nation's highest court has been largely unknown, even to some of her biggest fans – until now.

The screening is co-hosted by EU Commissioner for Justice, Consumers and Gender Equality Věra Jourová, and organised in partnership with The European Commission, the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

The screening will be followed by a conversation with guest speakers: Françoise Tulkens, former Judge and Vice-President of the European Court of Human Rights, Associate Member of the Royal Academy of Letters, Sciences and Fine Arts of Belgium; Shéhérazade Semsar-de Boisséson, CEO, POLITICO Europe; Dagmar Schumacher, Director, UN Women Brussels Office; panel moderated by Sietske Steneker, Director, UNFPA Brussels Office; with an introduction by Deborah Seward, Director, UNRIC.

The event is now fully booked and the waitlist is full.
