At the 68th session of the General Assembly, which opens September 17, 2013, the theme will be "The Post -2015 Development Agenda: Setting the Stage."
On this occasion, several events related to the MDGs and post-2015 will be held at UN Headquarters.
At a time of a real mobilization of governments, civil society and citizens from all over the world to achieve the MDGs, these events represent a decisive step for the continuation of such efforts and the implementation of an ambitious post-2015 development agenda.
In this context, the discussions will mainly focus on the acceleration of the achievement of MDGs, the development of an inclusive and universal post-2015 development agenda and the promotion of sustainable development and the implementation of the decisions of Rio+20.
