World Heritage Volunteers 2013 - Patrimonito Voluntary Action - Inspiring change

29jan-unesco-volunteersAre you a youth organization and want to sensitize the young people more about the value of World Heritage sites? Or are you an NGO and wish to organize a work camp to preserve and promote a World Heritage site, with young international volunteers?

Here is a way to do so!

The UNESCO World Heritage Education Programme in collaboration with the Coordinating Committee for International Voluntary Service (CCIVS) is pleased to announce the call for proposals for the World Heritage Volunteers (WHV) 2013 (Deadline 30 January).

The UNESCO World Heritage Centre invites organizations to join the World Heritage Volunteers 2013. The WHV2013 provides challenging opportunities to young people to cross borders, share cultures, and unite to preserve natural sites, restore archaeological finds, and raise awareness amongst local communities about their heritage!

Following the successful WHV 2012 with 50 projects organized in 40 World Heritage sites around the globe, the WHV2013 welcomes the participation of all interested organizations with the call to include World Heritage in their activities.

So we kindly invite all the interested organizations to submit their projects. For the application form and more information, please refer to the WHV 2013 Call for Proposals.
