2012
2012 was another successful year for Cine-ONU. Most of our films were screened at the Goethe Institute, our usual venue and partner. This year however, two of our films “Janes Journey” and “Surviving Progress” were so popular we had to move to the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). For “Janes Journey”, which was screened in the presence of Ms Goodall, we were delighted to welcome, an audience of over 1,000.
Some screenings were planned in advance to highlight priority issues on the UN agenda, such as the year of Sustainable Energy for All, whilst others were in response to worldwide events that we wanted to spotlight, but all were well attended and for that we would like to thank our loyal followers, our Cine-ONU fans.
Between 2007 and 2012 we screened a total of 54 films, all of which are listed in this section of the website. Please contact [email protected] for further information.
